Projects of the Community Services Committee
- Support for Habitat For Humanity through financial contributions or assisting in a build.
- Adopt a Corner Garden - The RCCR planted flowers at the corner of Queen and Water Street.
- Club members & Rotary Youth Exchange students participate in Curl for Cancer.
- RCCR members participate in the St. Jeans Breakfast Program.
- RCCR members do shifts for the Salvation Army Christmas Kettles.
- Plus other events as they come up.
Habitat For Humanity
Club members have in the past sponsored a HFH build, built mini-barns to fundraise for HFH, and participated in actual house building.
City of Charlottetown 'Adopt a Corner Garden'.
A committee under the leadership of Rotarian Past President Gordon MacInnis planted flowers at the corner of Queen Street and Water Street for the City of Charlottetown's Adopt a Corner Garden program.

Some members of the Rotary Club of Charlottetown Royalty and Rotary Youth Exchange students raised funds for cancer research through a Curl for Cancer tournament.
St. Jeans breakfast program
Volunteering at the St. Jeans breakfast from 7:30 - 8:20 am is a very rewarding experience. The volunteers cut up fruit, spoon yogurt into dishes, toast 50 pieces of bread/bagels/or English muffins , pre-pour milk, serve the children and clean up . The children are of many nationalities, very polite and appreciative . The atmosphere is so nice! A great way to start a morning!
December - The Salvation Army Christmas Kettles
Each December a number of members from the Rotary Club of Charlottetown Royalty take shifts manning the Salvation Army's Christmas Kettles.Club members generally volunteer for 2-6 two-hour shifts during the season, but Rotarian Gary Thompson for the last number of years has been a regular feature at the Canadian Tire store, manning the kettles nearly every day.
