About the RCCR

What is the Rotary Club of Charlottetown Royalty?

The club held its charter meeting on June 13, 1987.  The charter president was Tom Wilkinson, who later became a District Governor of District 7820. There were 53 members of the club at its inception, of which 13 are still members today. One of these members, Brian Potter, has had perfect attendance since the start. Our breakfast meetings, held at the Delta Hotel on Wednesdays at 7:15 a.m., tend to be lively with good speakers, good humour and great friendship. One of the highlights of the meetings is the piano playing by one of our members, Tom Loney. We are a local service club that raises funds in the community to enable us to carry out local and international projects and other Rotary initiatives.
